Just when you thought you had enough Georgetown apparel…
Victoria’s Secret PINK has recently added GU to their collegiate collection, and created the perfect pieces to show off school spirit in style. The line is personalized for us Hoyas, and has everything from tank tops and quarter zips to hoodies and varsity crews – there’s even a blinged-out football jersey for the daring. The entire collection fits PINK’s reputation of comfy yet stylish loungewear, making these pieces the ideal additions to any female student’s wardrobe.
Along with the establishment of the line is the Georgetown PINK Campus Representative Street Team. Led by sophomores, Alysia Swint and Jamie Woodard, the street team is in charge of promoting the brand on the Hilltop, organizing events for students to attend, and handing out merch and discounts on campus.
“Our latest major event was the Campus Bra Party,” spills Woodard, “which our Street Team co-hosted with the PINK team from George Mason University. We had giveaways, a live DJ, refreshments – and of course, great clothes by PINK!” The event, which was held on the 22nd of October, took place at Tyson’s Corner Mall. Hoyas in attendance showed their student IDs to receive special deals on PINK merchandise.
“We were really glad to see a big Hoya turnout at this event,” Swint explained. “The more support we get at our events and on our social media platforms, the more fun opportunities we can offer. After all, what Hoya doesn’t love Georgetown merch and freebies?”
The Georgetown Collegiate Collection can be purchased in the Victoria’s Secret PINK stores in Pentagon City, Union Station, and on Connecticut Avenue. The collection is also available on PINK’s website.
