As the humidity cranks up and our clothing dwindles down, it can be difficult to create classy and chic outfits. Luckily for us though, summer’s favorite accessory has taken on some stylish new forms with just enough color to make your tan and outfit pop.

This summer, it’s all about cool tints and high-reflection lenses. Not only can your sunglasses double as your mirror on the go, but they can also work to highlight your features. Grab blue tinted glasses to balance out rosier skin or a sunset tint to show off your sunkissed glow. Don’t be afraid to try bold colors either; a purple or green tint can add the perfect pop to your ensemble.

While bold shapes are in this season, it’s important to choose the shape that’s right for your face. For round-faced folks, lean towards square or cat eye glasses to add some structure and boldness to your look. Heart shaped faces should seek out lighter frames or ones with exaggerated bottoms to elegantly elongate your face. If you have an oval face, stick to rectangle or upswept styles to draw definition to your fabulous cheekbones. Finally, those of you with square faces can rock some of the most daring shapes. So go ahead and grab those oval-shaped glasses or that funky cat eye to add a burst of high fashion to your look.

Regardless of your face shape or favorite color, be bold and try a pair of out-of-the-ordinary sunnies this season. They’ll immediately add polish and style to any summer look, from bathing suits to Hillternship attire.
