Have you ever been walking around campus in your oversized sweats and Birkenstocks, (~sigh~ it really do be like that sometimes) only to catch a glimpse of someone walk past in a gorgeous cashmere coat and suede boots? Or a dope biker jacket paired with some grungy ripped jeans? Um, hello, where do you shop and how do I offer you the job of being my personal stylist?

Sometimes, the biggest fashion inspiration can come from your fellow more put-together Hoyas just parading around campus (or is it a runway?). Well, we just made it a little easier for you to put your best fashion foot forward; talk about “Men and Women for Others”! We captured some of our favourite looks from your local models on the GU streets and found the best ways for you to recreate them (even the exact pieces in a few lucky cases)!

This outfit is the epitome of a casual yet sophisticated and chic winter look. Olivia pairs a simple white sweater (Brandy Melville Bear Erica sweater; no longer on their website but cop a similar one here) with some light-wash cuffed mom jeans (hers are from a vintage store in NYC but these ones from PacSun do the trick) held up by a simple Brandy Melville Black and Gold Circle Buckle belt. The stunning grey coat is from a Parisian brand, (this one from Zara has a similar look at an amazing price) the simple black boots are Clark’s, and the oversized black bag is Forever New (this one from the same brand is pretty identical.) She finishes it off with a cute Swarovski animal pendant, like this one.

Blake Kaiser-lack (ig: @blakekaiserlack)

Blake oozes simple comfort and style with this look. He has on an Egara coat, a light blue button-down American Eagle shirt, classic dark denims, also American Eagle, some white tennis shoes from Clark’s and a cashmere scarf (this block-color one from The Rake is perfect).

Norman Francis Jr (ig: @presidentnorman)

Talk about an effortlessly cool look. Norman has on a velour Fila tracksuit, but any of these Filas work. He has a basic graphic tee on underneath paired with some classic high-rise Air Force 1s and a red bucket hat from Kangol (also casually eating banana bread right in front of White Gravenor is a whole mood in and of itself).

Hopefully seeing your fashionable fellow Hoyas gave you a little bit of inspiration. Fashion is all about expressing yourself and being confident, so try and find some ways to make your look say a little something about who you are! Or, I guess a Georgetown sweater and Birkenstocks will just have to do.

Besides working out, she has a ~slight~ obsession with flaming hot cheetos, memes and Michael B. Jordan.
